Elizabeth Line TVS Maintenance Elizabeth Line TVS Maintenance
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project: A new line for London
The Elizabeth line will stretch more than 60 miles from Reading and Heathrow in the west through central tunnels across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
The new railway – currently being built by Crossrail Ltd – will stop at 41 accessible stations, 10 newly built and 30 newly upgraded, and is expected to serve around 200 million people each year.
Scope of Supply: Zitrón’s scope of works for the project compromises originally the design, delivery, of the 100% reversible Axial ventilation fans. Now, the maintenance is a turn key project including:
- Managing the permits with all the parties for granting access on sites
- Planification of the maintenance schedule and coordination with the different parties involved in the construction and railway activities
- Providing a highly skilled team of specialized technicians for electro mechanical maintenance of the full TVS system
- Effective maintenance of 48 axial fans and dampers, noise attenuators, transition pieces, UPE Grilles, Adit Meshes, VSD cabinets, MCC Cabinets.
- 24 Hour On Call service for immediate reaction in case of high and critical alarms in the Network
The site team works on night shifts and in a very restrictive time frame, so they need to be very specialized in order to achieve the objectives within the shift.
